      This lovely sandy beach is located just south of Kawaihae Harbor on Highway 270. The beach is protected by a large reef and the breakwater of the harbor making the water calm enough for the entire family to enjoy swimming here. Facilities are in close proximity to the beach making it easier to access with children.
